A numerical-experimental research, mainly sponsored by Ansaldo Energia is under way, addressed at the conversion of the LRPM technology, specific for liquid fuels, toward its application to syngas fuels, with progressively higher H2 content. Although the prototype burners siutable to this type of application are as of now subject to industrial confidential treatment, the fundamental strategy being pursued is presented in the following publications.
